About the Project
SatLayer is a restaking platform that enables restaking of Bitcoin, allowing staked Bitcoin to be used as collateral to secure decentralized applications and protocols, with programmable Bitcoin slashing capabilities. It enables Bitcoin Validated Services (BVSes) to leverage Bitcoin-backed crypto-economic security guarantees, including applications like lending protocols, data availability protocols, and sequencers.
